The “Old and New Thrift Shop,” operated by the SOCH Auxiliary actively supports the hospital through its operation. It is comprised of dedicated and dependable women and men from the southern Ocean County community giving their time, interest, loyalty, and financial resources for the betterment of Southern Ocean Medical Center. Before you gather your donations, please see our donation guidelines below.​DonationsWe accept donations on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays between the hours of  8:00am - 1:00pm. We are NOT accepting donations on Thursdays until further notice. Unfortunately we are NOT able to accept donations outside of those hours. Donations are accepted at the rear entrance.Due to the impacts of Covid-19 and the high volume of donations at this time, please call to confirm hours.  ​ We cannot acceptWe do not accept baby cribs, car seats, or high chairs. We are no longer accepting any furniture donations. Mattresses, bed pillows, and mattresses covers will only be accepted if new in package.
